Love, Love Loved it - Hairspray

I went to see Hairspray tonight & from the first opening number to the end when the credits started to roll, I love it.

I went through a John Waters phase in high school renting Hairspray, Serial Mom & Cry Baby...but I rented them because they were so bad & cheesy. This was actually good & with a good message.

I'll admit it...I only went because Zac Efron, my High School Musical, the Teen Beat boy was in it ( Cause I love him in HSM & he has just been casted in the Kevin Bacon role, in the remake of Footlose). Turned out I was disappointed with his role...oh well HSM 2 is out in 2 weeks.

But as it started I started to think what big players were in it. First of all the girl in the lead role as Tracy has a voice. They all can sing & dance. Who knew James Marsden (The Notebook & Xmen) could sing? Then Michelle Pfeiffer was really good & has one of the best numbers.

I thoughht I would not like John Travolta, but he was endearing & I remember how much I loved Danny Zucko!

If you like musicals, go see this -its really fun.
