Word on the street is that Ciniplex Odeon Theatres is in talks with the province to begin selling wine and beer in the movie theatres.
So for those who cant watch a movie without a drink, your dreams may be coming true! Who knows how long this will last, or if it will even ever happen.
For me, personally, i think the idea is dumb and i wouldnt buy a drink. Id probably end up peeing about 3 times during the movie after one beer!

not a bad idea, but you're totally on about the pee-pee issue.
it's another reason i prefer to watch movies in the comfort of my own home...with my bottle right beside me!
If I was 19 - I'd be like F*** yeah!
now,,,I think about the 19 guys/gals who will be loud & obinxous & stupid....while I'm watching Borat, Knock Up or any other movie....not so appealing
For one coke its like $6 - can you imagine what they'll even charge for a beer?
I know a lady that just sneaks a bottle of wine in her purse - I'll go with that method instead of breaking the bank!!
And doesn't the Scotiabank theatre have a bar in it? Pretty close to the same thing.
I concur,,,sneaking in booze is alot more fun than waisting my money at the theatre.
