The summer of the sequels

So this seems to be the summer of sequels. Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and other big movies, see the below list:

May:
Spiderman 3 Pirates of the Caribbean - at world end 28 Weeks Later
Shrek 3 Georgia Rule The Ex

June:
Ocean's Thirteen Live Free or Die Hard Evan Almighty
Fantastic Four 2 Hostel Part 2 Knocked Up

July:
The Simpsons movie Harry Potter 5 Transformers
I Now Pronounce you Chuck & Larry Hairspray I Know Who Killed Me

August:
The Bourne Ultimatum Rush Hour 3 The Invasion
Superbad The Bothers Solomon Halloween 9

Here are my top 3 Must See picks

1) Shrek 3 - I loved Shrek...was scared to see Sherk 2 because - well sequels usually suck ..but turned out to be just as good & clever as the first - so I'm on board to check out the third. I saw baby Shrek dolls being advertised at Toy R Us - gives me an indication there may be an apperance of a baby in the third movie. Also John Krasinski, (Jim from The Office) has a voice role as Lancelot.

2) Knocked Up - Love Seth Rogen & Jay Baruchel(both Canadian & former Undeclared cast mates), & it looks like a genuinely funny movie. See trailer below.

3) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - I always enjoy the Potter movie & the story is getting better & better. I think my mid-June Pottermania will be full swing with the movie & book being released within days of each other. Cant wait!

So whats your top three?

All right, call me a party pooper but im not really into seeing movies these days. Im more of a renter, by the time you get your tickets and food its like $40. I just dont find it worth it anymore.

However, I really want to see Spiderman 3, so once the craze dies down, i might head to the drive in to see it. Much better deal!

See - i love the movie - I buy the $7 tickets through work & than sneak the dollar store candy in.

I find some movies I just like to see on the big screen (HP for one)

Hells Yeah - Ms. F and I are definitely both old, old ladies!!! I'm all about crashing at home with a movie in my jammies. None of those movies with sound that's too loud, and annoying teenagers.

haha! You ladies are funny!..and yes old! lol But I agree that I try and only go to the big screen to see movies I really want to see. But the ones I'm looking forward to are:
1)The Bourne Ultimatum (didn't love the sequel but I think this one looks good).
2) No Reservations
3) hmmm,,and maybe Waitress?
