It looks like Jack Bauer will get to save the day 2 more times. Fox has renewed the Emmy-winning 24 starring Kiefer Sutherland through the 2008-09 season. Sutherland has a contract to produce/star in the show through 2009.
No word yet on what creative direction the show will take. The sixth and latest season has received criticism for being subpar in quality and direction as compared to the show’s prior seasons.

so i guess this means they haven't run out of countries that want jack bauer dead? i used to be a huge fan but im over it....
