Although none of the cast won in their categories:- Hugh Laurie (MJ's House) beat out McDreamy (in his cute bow tie), Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Kiefer Sutherland, & Bill Paxton (Big Love).
- Kyra Sedwick beat out Ellen Pompeo (too much gloomy Meridith?), Eadie Falco & Evangeline Lilly.
The Surprises:
- Ugly Betty beat out Desperate Housewives, Entourage, The Office & Weeds? Didn't see that coming.
- Alec Baldwin beat out Zach Braff, Steve Carell, Jason Lee & Tony Shalhoub ( Monk is still on?). Although I've seen 30 Rock 2x recently, its pretty good - I think he totally deserved it. His role on that show is pretty funny.
Awkward moment of the night:
- Maria Menounos interviewing the girl from Ugly Betty - asking her what she wanted to say to all the people who didn't want her to play Betty - To which Ugly Betty replied, she didn't know people didn't want her to play Betty - Than Menounos awkwardly tried to explain....wow, way to bring the girl down right after getting an award
- Annette Benning taking a swig of booze every time they showed her nominated for an award (Must be all those years living with Warren Beatty that's got her boozing)
What I missed:
- Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Ali G) speech when he won:( booo

I totally agree with you on Jaime Pressly - she's probably the funniest woman on television right now.
Another awkward moment - Warren Beatty's speech. it was just horrible!!! He tried to do a Borat impersonation to which not one person laughed...because he completely messed it up!
I loved Hugh Laurie's speech! He didn't let me down one bit,,,and I agree about those awkward moments,,,too funny!
